# servera.co.uk Developers API

> Manage servera.co.uk hosting services programmatically, or let an AI assistant do it for you, over a REST API and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Token-authenticated, headless, idempotent.

The servera.co.uk Developer API gives you and your AI assistants full control of your own servera.co.uk account: discover the service catalog, place and pay orders (with account credit), provision and terminate VPS/VDS, manage DNS zones and records, firewalls, private networks, backups, SSL certificates, shared-hosting IP protection, malware scans, domains, invoices and support tickets. Everything is scoped to the authenticated customer and the token's permissions.

## MCP server
- Endpoint: https://developers.servera.co.uk/mcp (JSON-RPC 2.0 over HTTP POST).
- Connect an MCP-capable assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to discover and call servera.co.uk tools: order/pay/terminate services, manage DNS, firewalls, backups, SSL, tickets and more, inside the authenticated customer's own account.
- Auth: the same Bearer token as the REST API.

## Guidelines
- Mutating calls support/require an Idempotency-Key header.
- Writes need explicit write scopes; service termination needs its own scope.
- Actions never cross account boundaries, only the token owner's resources.
